Upgrade the standard 3 pin socket and plug on your CB or 10/12m radio with a XT-90 socket and plug set.

Reduce voltage drop on long cable runs from your power sauce to radio.

Power cable supplied from manufacture can be anywhere from 18AWG to 16AWG with a length from 1.8m to 1.5m not really suitable for direct battery hookup.

Wire size from 12AWG to 8AWG.
We recommended 12AWG figgier 8 wire.

On some radio you may need to file the mounting holes on the XT-90 socket to fit.
